Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you book a tour with Go Like a Local.

1. Who we are

2. Booking and payment

You book and pay online through our booking system, Bókun. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. The confirmation includes the meeting point and start time. Prices are per person for group tours and per group for private tours, including Danish VAT.

3. Cancellation by you

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour starts and receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start, or do not show up, the booking is non-refundable. If you booked through another platform (for example Viator or GetYourGuide), that platform's cancellation terms apply.

4. Changes and cancellation by us

If we have to cancel a tour, we offer you another date or a full refund. We may adjust the route along the way, for example because of events, construction or the weather.

5. Meeting point and time

Please arrive at the meeting point on time. The tour starts at the time stated in your confirmation, and we cannot wait for late arrivals.

6. Walk & Canal: the public canal ferry

On Walk & Canal we ride the public canal ferry. Seats cannot be reserved. If the ferry is full, your host walks the scenic route along the canals instead. This does not entitle you to a refund.

7. Malmö

The return train ticket is included in the price. Please bring a valid passport or ID card, as there may be border controls between Denmark and Sweden.

8. Weather

Our tours run in all weather. Please dress for the day.

9. Gift cards

A gift card can be used for a tour of the recipient's choice. The recipient chooses the date.

10. Your safety

You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own belongings. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
