Having trialled a brilliant (despite freezing weather) walking tour in January this year, with the amazing Brittmay, I felt confident to book a bigger tour again with Go Like a Local for our company team offsite which we were holding in Copenhagen. I knew that Maybritt would not only be able to curate something special, but also help bring Copenhagen’s rich culture, philosophy and concept of Hygge to life just as she did in January. Everyone who attended agreed that the passion and storytelling, woven in with the concept of Hygge by Maybritt and her brilliant colleagues was not just inspiring but genuinely magical. Every question answered and lots of thought provoking questions to us too. Making it truly interactive. GO like a local also helped create a bespoke route for us in a timeframe that worked for the team. From an efficiency and communications point of view, Michael who runs the organisational part was also brilliant throughout, making the discussion and booking phase - right through to the delivery of the tour itself - super easy and efficient to navigate. I cannot recommend enough. If I was to ever go back with a friend who hadn’t visited, and they wanted to do a walking tour I would instantly recommend Maybritt at go like a local every time. Thank you - you brought the hidden nooks and crannies and stories alive. The team and I are so grateful for what was a magical hour and a half and will always remain in our hearts!
I had a wonderful experience in Copenhagen, Denmark. I highly recommend the walking and canal tour. I had gotten to the meeting point late and I returned to my hotel, only for me to see messages from my tour guide (Maybii) . She told me to meet them at the National Library which was the next stop. I'm so glad I went there. Maybii was such a lovely guide . Our group was small and diverse. She gave us proper history without making it boring. She made sure she had repeated what I had missed previously. I wanted to see the mermaid statue . I’ve attached a photo of this 😊 so glad that was part of the tour. I highly recommend this tour and make sure you’re not late. 😊
Our tour guide and the overall tour itself was remarkably warm, funny, and an very enriching experience. Seeing varying points of interest, while gaining the historical background of Denmark was one of a kind! Learning traditions of the past, seeing how history and modernism now intersect was a treat. I highly recommend this tour, as it was a life changing experience!
Martin, our 'Go Like a Local' guide, treated us to a wonderful walking tour of Copenhagen. He shared lots history and demonstrated great pride for his city. Martin was attentive to the needs of each participant and took great care to assure that we all enjoyed the tour. Keeping the group to a small number (10 of us) worked really well. This was definitely a 5-star experience. Martin is terrific!
I enjoyed such a perfect and wonderful afternoon tour of Copenhagen city with our tour guide Majbritt who was full of information about Copenhagen’s history and culture. It was lovely to meet two other people in our group like me who were first time tourists in Copenhagen. Majbritt made the afternoon both informative and entertaining and I highly recommend her.
Martin is amazing! 10/10 experience. He catered the tour to the group and made sure we learned a lot of history about the places we had only seen in pictures before. We came without booking any restaurants too and he gave us amazing recommendations. I did this tour for my 30th birthday and I will always remember and cherish it.
I had a wonderful tour of Copenhagen with Majbritt. She was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting insights about the city, its history and Danish culture. Her friendly personality and our small group made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic way to discover Copenhagen – definitely recommend!
Martin was an amazing guide! Martin made this tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to listen to, and he kept a great pace the whole way. We saw Copenhagen's highlights in one morning, finishing at Amalienborg for the Changing of the Guard. Meeting under the big clock at Central Station was easy too. Highly recommend, and ask for Martin!
We had the best tour of Copenhagen with Maybe! She was knowledgeable and extremely friendly and entertaining. This is our first time in this city but she definitely makes me want to come back and see more. Wonderful!!
Martin provided an exceptional experience going through the different history landmarks and the nature behind the buildings in the city. He also has a very personable attitude and easy to talk to approach for myself and my wife who are from America and do not have much knowledge on the history of the city. He’s made this experience fantastic
What a wonderful way to start my visit in Copenhagen! Maybritt was a brilliant guide. Very knowledgeable, humorous, kind and attentive. I’m so glad I did this tour!
