What kind of tours do you offer?
We run five small-group tours with a local guide and never more than 12 guests. Every tour is also available as a private tour:
- Walk & Canal: our most popular tour. The city's highlights on foot past Tivoli and Christiansborg, a ride on the electric harbour ferry with views of the Opera House and Nyhavn, and the Changing of the Guard at Amalienborg at the end. 3 hours · about 5 km (about 7 km if we walk instead of taking the boat) · €49 per person.
- Highlights & Hidden Gems: a personal introduction to the city's culture and history, past Rosenborg, the Round Tower and Gråbrødretorv, ending in Nyhavn. 2 hours · about 3.5 km · €39 per person.
- Cph Contrasts with Coffee, Cake & Culture: Nyhavn, Christianshavn, Christiania and Holmen, with two breaks along the way, and the tour always ends with cake at a cosy café on Holmen or Papirøen. 3 hours · about 3.5 km · €59 per person.
- The Secret to Danish Happiness: learn why Denmark ranks among the world's happiest countries every year in the UN's World Happiness Report. We walk through Nørrebro, Copenhagen's most vibrant and multicultural neighbourhood, past Superkilen, Jægersborggade and Hans Christian Andersen's grave, with coffee and a pastry along the way. 3 hours · about 5 km · €49 per person.
- Malmö Highlights: two countries in half a day. The train across the Øresund Bridge, a 2-hour guided walk in Malmö from Gamla Väster to Lilla Torg, and a Swedish fika. 4 hours in total · €79 per person, round-trip train ticket included.

Which tour should I choose for my first visit?
Choose Walk & Canal, our most popular tour. You see the city both on foot and from the water:
- On foot: Central Station, Tivoli, the Glyptotek and Christiansborg, where there is a good chance to see the royal horses.
- On the water: a ride on the city's electric harbour ferry with views of the Opera House and Nyhavn.
- At the end: the Changing of the Guard at Amalienborg. On the 9:00 and 9:30 tours you see the full Changing of the Guard at noon. The half-hour tours (9:30, 11:30 and 13:30) end in Nyhavn.
- Good to know: 3 hours · about 5 km (about 7 km if we walk instead of taking the boat) · €49 per person · max 12 guests.
If you have less time or want to walk less, choose Highlights & Hidden Gems: 2 hours, about 3.5 km, €39 per person, ending in Nyhavn.
When would you like to go?
Where do we meet?
It depends on the tour. We meet either at Central Station, at Marmorkirken (Marble Church) Metro or by Nyhavn.

Before you book
How big are the groups?
Our group tours never have more than 12 guests. If you'd rather have it to yourselves, book a private tour: just you and your own group.
I only see private tours on my date. Can I still join a group tour?
Our group tours don't run on every date and time. If there's no group tour on your date, you can book a private tour for just your group instead, at a time that suits you.
The tour is full. Can you add one more person?
If the departure is completely full, we unfortunately can't add anyone.
The tours
How long are the tours, and how far do we walk?
- Walk & Canal: 3 hours, about 5 km. If the harbour ferry is full and we walk instead, it is about 7 km.
- Highlights & Hidden Gems: 2 hours, about 3.5 km.
- Cph Contrasts with Coffee, Cake & Culture: 3 hours, about 3.5 km, with two breaks along the way (coffee and cake).
- The Secret to Danish Happiness (Nørrebro): 3 hours, about 5 km.
- Malmö Highlights: about 4 hours in total, including a 2-hour guided walk in Malmö.
What is included?
Every tour includes a local guide. On top of that:
- Walk & Canal: a ride on the public harbour ferry. Coffee at the café stop isn't included.
- Cph Contrasts: coffee and cake.
- Danish Happiness: the metro ride to Nørrebro, plus coffee and a pastry.
- Malmö: the round-trip train ticket and a Swedish fika (coffee and cake).
- Not included: lunch.
Is the canal boat ride guaranteed?
No. We use the public harbour ferry, and seats can't be reserved. On sunny weekends and busy afternoons, mainly in high season, it can be full, and then we walk the scenic route along the canal instead and see the same sights from land. The tour is then about 7 km instead of about 5 km.
Will we see the Changing of the Guard?
Yes, on Walk & Canal you see the Changing of the Guard at Amalienborg. On the 9:00 and 9:30 tours it's the full ceremony at noon, and on the later tours a smaller one.

Where do the tours end?

- Highlights & Hidden Gems: in Nyhavn.
- Cph Contrasts: always with cake at a cosy café on Holmen or Papirøen.
- Malmö: you can stay in Malmö after the guided walk or take the train back with your guide.
Do we go inside museums?
No, our tours take place outdoors. On a private tour we can adjust the route to your wishes.
